Privacy Policy

The data controller is ALBATROS DIGITAL, publisher of the Factur app. This policy explains what data Factur collects, why, and how it is protected. We follow an “offline-first” principle: most of your data stays on your device and is only synced for your own backup.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, phone number and, where applicable, email address, needed to create and secure your account.
  • Business data: customers, products, invoices, quotes, debts and your business settings. Stored first locally on your device, then synced in encrypted form for backup and multi-device use.
  • Subscription payment data: processed by our payment provider. We never store your card numbers or mobile-wallet credentials.
  • Technical data: device model, app version and error logs, used for security and service improvement.

2. How we use your data

  • Provide and run the app (invoicing, syncing, backup).
  • Process your subscription and secure your account.
  • Provide support and inform you of important changes.
  • Improve the reliability, performance and security of the service.

3. Storage and security

Your business data lives first on your device. Syncing to our servers is encrypted in transit. Access to the app can be protected by a PIN lock and biometrics.

Images (logo, proof photo) remain stored locally on your device and are not sent to our servers.

4. Data sharing

We never sell your data. We only share it with providers strictly necessary to the service: our payment provider for the subscription, and our infrastructure host for syncing.

We may disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of users.

5. Retention

We keep your data as long as your account is active. Deleting from the app erases your synced data immediately; an email request is processed within 30 days at the latest. Legal retention obligations are reserved.

6. Your rights

In accordance with Senegalese law No. 2008-12 on the protection of personal data and international standards (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, delete, object to and port your data.

7. Minors

Factur is intended for adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect data about minors.

8. Changes

This policy may change. Any significant change will be notified to you in the app or by another appropriate means.
